She heard this unexpectedly and walked away, walking away is a habit of her doing, if she doesn't like anything.
Perhaps Karthik has always seen her back than her front.
He wanted to meet her somehow when she was not in her hometown, actually she was in Kerala for her marriage but she couldn't have any excitement, why? Her heart whispers his name, may be it is too late to realize that she's in love with him. But something is tremendously killing her from inside. On her wedding, amidst people in the church she said that she's not willing to get married. Perhaps it's not due to Karthik it was not a planned thing, even she was not aware of his presence in the church. But she denied to get married.
Karthik decided to meet her, he went just to see his angel, Jessie was willing to see him at least once, she was beautiful in her wedding saree, her mesmerizing voice made him fall in love again and again.
He was crazy in love. Karthik never expected this twist, he just wanted to see her marriage and just go off but everything changed.. and when her family found him in the city, they could spin new stories and suspect Karthik behind this incident, but both of them were not aware of it. The sweet song of love began.. Hossannah!
Jessie called him when he was in Goa for a shoot, being an assistant director , there were works going day and night. She had called him to inform that her family was arranging a marriage for her. But he couldn't attend her phone calls, she rang again and again but she got no responses.
She couldn't control herself, emotions started to confuse her, crying lonely inside her room, couldn't reach to him, this time she decided something, determined too.
Overthinking may lead to wrong decisions but she was not thinking too much but trying to cope with herself.
Now Karthik got some time, he called her immediately but what he got is the text.. " It's all over", she just wants to forget him and move on. She felt that she was just an option and not his priority. These kinds of misunderstandings are common in love but one should really understand everything about the partner.
Karthik wanted to visit her, fiercely he went to her home, yet he couldn't bring a change in her attitude or could convince her. She doesn't want to hold on to him by losing others, it's not just Karthik made her to take this decision, there were thousands of reasons behind it. She could never convince her family, especially her dad or her brother. Her sister had a love ,she had fled to live with him but Jessie's family never allowed her to be with her loved ones. They brought her sister back home and made to marry someone they had wished.
Jessie also felt she wouldn't be able to convince the society, religion also played a vigorous role.
Age was also a barrier to her dreams because he's younger than her, what if he loses interest in her at a certain point of time.
To whom she could reach for help, where would she run seeking support? Would be there any support for the love marriage that is too an inter caste marriage?
She has not even seen movies, there might be one or two, not even completing the climax, here Karthik is a filmmaker, Jessie is lover of silence but Karthik profession is totally different, for her it seems to be totally difficult and different to cope with it.
Nothing is relatable, nothing actually seems to work out, it's complicated, it's a complex one now. Life is not a cakewalk, it's not a bed of roses. But a human always wish to be very calm and beautiful but could anyone say that life has always been happier for them? None could actually say it.
Even culture, tradition also played a minor role because she's a malayali girl and he's a tamil boy. A family is a bond of a million things, but what if all these things break her dreams of having a peaceful life? Anyone could understand that married life is totally different from love life, could Jessie cross the skies for him?
